Welcome to Vampires In Cowboy Boots, a personal blog owned by Tabby, hosted by Dreamwidth, and has been open since March 18th, 2017. BACKSTORY

I started blogging, today and I am terrified. I haven't got the foggiest idea what I'm doing here. Wordpress was recommened to me and I'm not exactly tech-savvy but I'm figuring it out so far.

So why have I started a blog? Because so few of my friends in real life really have the same interests as me. They prefer Beyonce to Brad Paisley, Coronation St & The Great British Bake Off to Supernatural & The Vampire Diaries. As for going for a run on the beach or a hike in the woods... forget about it!

A colleague of mine suggested I go online to meet people and to talk to about the things I'm passionate about and here I am!


BEHIND THE NAME

Vampires. Country music. Two of my biggest passions and I do like a good pair of cowboy boots so it only seemed natural to me to put the two things together to make my website name. It may sound silly but Vampires In Cowboy Boots really does sum up my main hobbies in just four words.

See I probably prefer Beyonce to Country, but I definitely like Supernatural and Vampire Diaries better then the Great British Bake-off-- though I will admit that "Need You Now" by Lady Antebellum is like an anthem for the motherfk'ing ages, and anyone who disagrees with me gets tied to a chair while that song plays over and over again until they recognize...
